cool stuff from awsome place treasure

I would like to tell the long version of this day but it has been very exhausting so i will keep it short. Yesterday I was talking to the guy who gave me the explorer metal detector(he bought it could not figure it out gave it to me how cool) he was curiouse if i had found anything with it he had mentioned he would like to take me to a small island 20 mile of the coast were and old light house keeper told him a story about finding coins on the beach after a storm in a little cove (St Paul's Island look it up read the history)Jokingly I said OK lets go tomorrow .as it is a dangerous time of year and takes great planning to go there.And that was it after putting together a dive team and securing gear the old fella secured the largest boat in his fishing fleet and at 6am this morning after a night of no sleep excited we were off weather on our side.And what a day

Beautiful place. I lived in Hawaii 3 years during my military service. Seeing the beautiful water sure makes me miss Hawaii.

Great pics. Sounds like you had a pretty good time as well pulling up some interesting finds. Hope that place rewards you with a nice pile of old old silver or gold.
