Some rain on Friday brought cooler weather and soft ground, and I was able to hunt my Early and late Archaic sites today.
I found a Big Sandy, what I believe is a Graham Cave and a nice Dalton.
At the other site I found something that resembles a cross between an Adena and a Savannah River. It is very cool and in great condition.
I also found what looks to be an early example of a Waller Knife by its shape, but is flaked on both sides. Maybe it's just coincidental, but it looks like one anyway.

Gifts? I’d say! Those are some fantastic finds!

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

You really hit the jackpot! I love the Graham Cave point. I nominated the big Adena looking point for banner. Rare material, very large and perfect! Congrats.

Very, very nice , i would say you did really good.

Great finds. Congrats

WOW! Good stuff, the Point Fairy has been good to you! I'd say Banner on the big point. Has a Savannah look to it but I've never seen one that big.

Dadgum! You hit the mother lode. Some beautiful exeptional finds there, congrats.

Geez, mon! Those are heckacious. I lean toward Adena on the big'un. Whatever it is, it's quite the beauty.

Awesome finds , I’d be thrilled to find any one of those points but all of them in one Day is exceptional. Love the dalton and the knife is killer with those serrations.,... that would be a really cool one to have a handle made for to display

That's a good idea. I've got a few antlers that would work nicely.
That's the first Dalton with that pronounced type of base I've found. Those are my favorite for sure.

It is unusual to find Tallahatta quartzite in Southeast Ga. My Area of Southeast Ga. has mostly Coastal plain chert. what county of Ga was these found. Really nice finds though.

Wow! Wow! Are these plowed field surface finds, or something else?

All were found digging in different sites. The large Tallahatta knife was about 48" down from the existing soil line. The early Archaic items were closer to the surface, but in an a different area where the grade has eroded substantially over the past few thousand years.

Heck of a spot. Some quality pieces there.

Wow those are nice they all look perfect! Did you find any brokes or anything lol!
