Picked up this "hammered" copper bud vase at the thrift store today, dirt cheap! Looks obviously hand made. Lots of tarnish on the inside.

Not 100% sure it is solid copper. The red color seems to be worn away in spots on the back and a yellow metal is showing through? A magnet won't stick to it. About 8-9" tall.

There is a hallmark on the bottom but I cant identify any part of it. Hey, its 8.22 oz of scrap copper at the very least.

Nice find. Looks like brass underneath. Scrap yard will likely "wheel it" to see. Regardless still worth some nice scrap money as brass if you can't sell it as a collectible.
 

Worth less than $2.00 for scrap.
