Copper candle stick holder?

I found this a few months ago in a collapsed old home. I found things dating from the 1860s to 1980s in the rubble. I believe this is a candle stick holder that was handmade, but it has a hole in the bottom where the wax would leak out. The bottom looks hammered. Any info is appreciated!

CANDLE STICK HOLDER AND AN OLD ONE AT THAT ....

The hole in center probably was a spike to hold candle just like modern ones have.
