I was just driven out of the bush by the bugs but I had a pretty good day. Two different locations....lots of coolness.

Copper Culture fish spear/harpoon and a piece of trade copper.

I assume this is a ram rod tip thing...not a pencil.

Cool clay pipe bowl with trade bead in it.

I found about a dozen trade beads including this one.

A little water hunting with the AT Max.

Nice finds! The harpoon is something special! Love the pipe, too.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Very....Very....Nice:headbang:

Worth the bugs when you find stuff like that .

Almost a full tent pitcher type hunt. That fish spear is amazing and that’s a beautiful clay bowl. Great hunt

Wow, cool selection of stuff and things!!

Amazing finds.

Copper culture artifacts are basically my tippy top favorite discoveries to see posted from this side of the world, congratulations! Can you post more pictures of the sizable harpoon? In that light and at that angle it's hard to see the barb or natural color.

Very nice hunt, congrats! :occasion14:

The Copper Culture fish spear/harpoon is awesome. I'd treasure that for years.

Great find , I don’t think people realize just how old and rare it is to find copper culture artifacts ..... it predates almost anything else found with a metal detector by 1,000 years .... unreal !

Not saying it is , but check out copper culture muskrat spears.

Yeah, I gotta go banner on that. Great find.

Wonderful, thank you for posting the additional pictures!

What is the length? 16cm-17cm/~6.5in? It's truly an impressive point, most barbed harpoon tips I've seen are rather smaller and harpoons in general seem more scarce than normal edged/lanceolate points. What an awesome find! :occasion14:
