Detector(s) used
Started with a Minelab xterra 505. Then Equinox 600 with stock coil, xl coil and sinper coil depending on circumstances. Now use a manticore mostly or oversized coil on equinox.
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
Found this in a bottle dump with a detecting friend. Had an hour to poke around with him. Put on tash coil but it was hard because it was muddy and full of signals. It's definitely a flower stem. Has leaves. And the rings like you see on bamboo plants in the stem.

Interesting find but not sure about it...

maybe from a stained glass lampshade?shade.webp

Still stumped on it

Good guess for a lamp shade part. Though I'd expect the back to be flat so it would sit against the glass nicely. My flower stem doesn't have a flat back and is starting to show parts of gold leaf at the top of the stem as the dirt slowly comes off. Must have had gold petals? It's staying in oil a few weeks then I'll get a better photo.

Very interesting piece. nice find! :occasion14:

Some kind of decor could have been a garden decor item.
