Here are my latest toasty treats. A nice watch winder, a clock winder, some more nice buttons and some toasted coppers, number 12 & 13 for the year. This year it is quantity over quality. I only have the dates of two of my coppers.
I almost tossed the small coin aside as trash, but I realize I can make out some detail on it. It appears to be a ship, but it could just be an illusion. If it is a ship, the only close match is a Pitt Token which would be highly unlikely. It measures 25mm and what's left of it weighs about 52 grains. The metal seems softer than copper, possibly pewter. It was bent and I was able to straighten it without breaking it in two.
