Copper object and misc

Detected a local farm and found this copper object. It has two round symmetrical sides with a copper tube that had attached them. I can’t figure this one out. The other piece has two mounting holes but concrete? In the middle.

WHat does the bottoms of them look like >?

I will get more pics. They look like crushed cups that have a circular patten that changes like steps, like the old jar lid openers that were made from rubber.

The crushed pieces reminds me of a float. They were copper in water tanks, like a toilet.

Yes the have the same ‘edging’ appearance of the plastic toilet floats…..

It’s two half spheres and a tube that connects them.
