Found the same day, same area in Lytle Creek. Detector screamed. Lots of shine that look like gold, but is too red. Is it possibly an oxide?
The nice thing about Lytle is it is right next to the San Andreas fault. All kinds of Geological happenings when the Pacific plate smashes into the North American plate.
