As i am filling up multiple cat litter pails with copper pennies i wonder how much money you peeps will tie up sitting around until the day comes we can sell . I think about $ 1,000 in pennies will be my limit.

$1,000 was my goal. I'm at $1,200 and still going.

Wow I am impressed by your persistence.

2 questions for you.

1. How many 40 lb. cat litter pails does it take?
2. What is your anticipated sell point?

Cheers!

I've got right around 1250$ idk how many cans it would take bc I roll them and page them back up in the same penny boxes mainly so I know how much I have, I do it as a second form of investment other then the stock market

I have about $2800.00 in copper pennies right now. But, as for your saying "until the day comes when we can sell" you can sell NOW if you want. Not for a great profit, but $50 bags are selling for about $75 - $80 on ebay even now. I'll wait until it goes higher, but if you hit a limit you could always sell what you have for a profit and start over. :-) PLus they pay the shipping, so that is net (minus feebay charges and paypal) Still not bad.

Plus you get all the wheaties while getting those coppers, which is a bonus. last year I got over 2,000 wheaties. This year I'll get about 1,500 I think.

I sold some copper last year, at $130 per $50 bag. Ran out of inventory in fact. Now I am back to 280,000 +/- coins, and adding weekly. WHen copper goes up I'll sell again and dwindle that down again. But if you needed to, you COULD sell now. :-)

Keep plugging away. I like pennies. :icon_thumleft:

currently sitting on 21 50 lb bags, with $73.50 in each bag. thats just under $1550.00 stockpiled. Sold a bunch last year, but will wait this year for copper to top $3.50 lb before unloading.

2 + tons here at the moment and constantly adding more.
Sold 1.5 tons last Dec.
120 lbs. per 5 gal. bucket.

i am currently working on getting a ton stockpiled. i am real close. will probably keep running pennies through the ryedale as long as i am netting at least 10%. i got 24% coppers today out of my run.

once i only saved up to $100.00, but then decided to spend them and replenish my supply later of them, but knowing me i will procrastinate until all copper cents r gone! :tongue3: :laughing7:

No clue how many I have stockpiled. I don't have a ryedale apprentice only an ace but I mainly handsort for errors and wheat's. I figure when my hands quit working and eyes are too bad to see the date, will be the time for me to stop. Or if the wife gets sick of the bags of cents laying around. Working on a per manant storage area for them now, should be ready to go in a few months.

Right now i only have about $50, and i'm thinking of selling soon.

I am currently putting them in 28 lb pails. Dont know how many are in each tho. Guessing about $200.00

Unless i find an easy sell i will prob wait till its legal. Havnt got a clue when tho.

I have about $50 in copper pennies. My goal is $500, so I have a ways to go.

I'm working toward $1000. But once I get there I may keep going. Who knows? ;D

My goal is two tons, broken down into 8 500# caches that I will store across the region at various locations I have access to.

25% of the way there, and only took 4 years lol
