Copper penny percentages pulled

I've observed similar numbers... at least 13/50 rolls in my first box gives me 26% copper. That's also not counting the wheat cents. I'll let you know if it changes after another box or so.

Over ~65 boxes, 26.2% + another 2.4% if you keep the copper '82s. Wheats are ~0.5%, or, ~12 / box. I've found 1 indian head in the wild.

My average boxes contain 11-12% copper.

I usually buy a box of $25 at a time. My last box yielded $7.50 in coppers. That is a 30% clip. I'm still curious the highest or lowest percentages you guys are getting.

got $30 of CRW pennies the other day, I had more coppers than not. +50%, I'd dare 60% if I had to estimate. MWR, depends, I've been bit by the zinc skunk on occasion, 10-15% copper lately a box, used to be 30%, hopefully things will pick back up.

The bank where I have my business account hooks me up. They rip off the top of the box & let me look at the rolls. The other day I bought a box of pennies & the first one they brought me was 100% newer pennies. So they brought me another one & it was 100% mixed older/newer pennies.
