copper ring

I found this at a spot I have been to. Decided to grid it off and came up with this kettle metal ring. It is rolled one way the flipped over and rolled in as well then forming a ring. How did they roll this copper like this. It is amazing really! I also found a small piece like a hair cone but there is two sides rolled to the middle.?

I found this other ring last year. It is much smaller rolled copper ring. Rolling this one baffles me.
