Now's the time to step it up a gear, so today was a 7 hour grid on my own covering just over 2.5 acres & completing 90% of the coin spread/site. I'm not worried about the 10% as its time to move on to Brooch Field before they do the next grading which could easily damage the surface coins.
I didn't get the quality Roman Coins that I got from the heart of the site yesterday but I did have a bit of an artifact day instead;

27 Bronze Roman Coins
Roman Pot Shards from the last 2 Days.
Roman Animal Teeth, plus my first cut Deer Antler
Button with dog
Roman Hob-Nail
Several Roman Fibula including a nice Running Hare.:icon_thumright:
Roman Nail Cleaner (Type that hung off a Brooch)
Roman Childs Ring
Roman Childs Pendant
Iron Age Fibula
Broken up Roman Silver Coin of Vespasian
Very Rare Tasciovanus Silver Unit 25-15BC - Warrior type (one I need), see a better example;

Those are awesome finds, too bad the silver is so corroded, is there any way to improve the condition?

I've done as much cleaning as I needed to, ie. got the ID. Cleaning is a 1 way job, your can always do more, but you can't go back.

Nicely done, those are some great finds! Are you finished cleaning the Roman coins or do you do more with them?

Congrats and HH

Wow !! Congrats on a fine hunt !!

Always a bountiful collection of goodies, congratulations! :notworthy:

Congrats on the rare type Cru. You're having a few really great hunts this past week.

The deep plow made copse like new! I bet it was a hard day but finds make it well worth! Nothing broken on the running hare brooch. :hello2:

Yes, other than museum wax on my album coins.

Actually the pin & its back leg/foot. But I'm really happy with it.:headbang:

I know they have gone deeper than before because they have smashed & turned up some large tree roots on the edge of the field.:thumbsup: (Plus all the other signs like large lead etc..)

Rest of Roman Coins added to top.

It also a pleasure to see all of your varied finds.

Thanks and congrats Cru!

Yep, nice mix as always!

Must be great being so close to such historical finds.
Loved the bunny!...but the coins are a given thumbs up!

That silver coin is astonishing!!!! Congrats!!!!! 7 hours is insane but with finds like that it would be hard to stop.
