Got out to my cornfield with nepawill today, only had 2 hrs and of course the field wasn't cut yet. Decided to see if we could swing between rows. Glad we did, I nabbed a 1820-something largie! Shortly after that I called Bill to come over to me and swing near me and lo and behold he got his first large cent 1851!! Real nice detail for his first one I'm pretty pumped I was able to get him on his first one. Thanks for looking Happy Hunting !!!

Congrats to you both on the old coppers

Nice LC's !! Congrats and HH

Congratulations on rescuing the two old copper ladies from the ground! :occasion14:

Wow, swinging in the corn, man you must really have wanted to detect that field. I find it hard enough to hunt them after the harvest with the 12" to 16" stalks still standing. Congrats on the LC and for assisting Nepa in a first. Really nice to see your still taking time to swing the coil my friend.

A perfect day for both! Looking forward to when you can swing in there after the cut.

Really nice saves!! Especially swingin' between stalks.........I tried that earlier this year before harvest and it ain't easy!!

thanks alot , this field was awesome back in 2012 when I found it. I got close to 20 large cents there, 2 centers, shield nickels, fatty indians, and we'll over 125 buttons from there. It's been about 3 yrs since I large cent popped out of there, and today we got 2!
