Ell the farmer finally planted his corn, so well have to stay out of the field till fall. But that won't stop us from hunting the 10 - 12 foot drip of grass all the way around it. Here are the finds from last night. There are two rows of pennies in the upper left corner, the ones on the left are memorials, the other row is 12 wheaties that all came out of the same hole.
Not great finds but there still coming.

Hey pal i found a buckle. It looks identical to the more square one in your picture. Do you know what they are and how old. Can anyone give me a idea what it is?

Not sure, but all of the coins we have found in the fields have been between 1776 and 1929, so based on that I would say late 1800's or early 1900's.
