Still figuring out my detector so thought some coin shooting at a park from the 60s would be cool. Well after about 200 soda tabs and 5 Memorial pennies I let my girlfriend have some swings. Well like the 2nd hole she found this. I thought it was maybe gold plated when we pulled it and had an idea it maybe costume jewelry but figured it like most jewerly of today would be no name oversees junk. Well after cleaning I found a manufacturers mark on the back that read MAMSELLE. When I found the mark we got excited. Then the 2nd most fun part of detecting researching your finds. Turns out the costume jewelry was gold brushed and manufactured between1962-1986. So not seriously old but a fun interesting find with some history.
