Could this Be a Fired Musket Ball?

Hello All. I found this lead ball at a 1900's farm house site. I have dug a 50-70 copper shell and several c.1880-1900's shotshells there too. The piece in question is about 5/8-IN in diameter, has old lead patina on it, and looks a bit deformed as if it was fired.

I'm thinking it's a musket or pistol ball shot at a rock ???
