Good luck to all,

The Old Bookaroo

A better/ larger pic showing more of the boulder would help. Seems there is more there.

ORO means Gold as most know, also it means 45* the upside down U is something covered(one meaning). I would measure the turtle and multiply by five for the distance to go. I'm not there to see everything but you have a start. Rocky

Hmm.. it's hard to say. I forwarded your photo to a Jesuit scientist I know who works in Vatican secret basement level 13.

Level 13 is the fastest operations you will ever find.

I think someone's pissing on your leg and calling it rain.

The carving's text: why say GOLD? Also, the style looks way too modern - as in "very recent". The symbols below the text are classics from any number of "treasure hunting signs" publications. My guess: hoax.

I would interpret that as gold, buried, go straight ahead in the direction the turtle is pointing.

Turtles lead to treasure.

Its telling you the direction to the gold mine...that must be in az....db

But do you go in the direction of the head, tail or longest leg?
