So I found this while doing some line work out in the oil field west of sundown texas. I thought it was from lightning hitting the ground since a storm blew through last night. My friend says it's a arrow head but I'm not sure.

Welcome to TreasureNet.

Knapped by human hands. How recently I don't know but some modern knappers use glass.
Not lightning made....lightning does create things from sand but they don't resemble arrow heads.
Neat find you have ,congrats.

Thank you I've never found anything like it before and I wasn't even going to pick it up but I'm glad I did.

Could it possibly be some authentic clear quartz type of a point? Very cool no matter what it is.
