Officials hope to tear down "one of the biggest eyesores in Schuylkill County."

"It upsets me that it is still there," county Commissioner Francis V. McAndrew said Wednesday of the building at 254 E. Darkwater Road, just off Route 61 in New Castle Township, north of Saint Clair.

The building has been abandoned for at least 20 years, officials said, and many consider it dangerous. McAndrew has called it a "disgrace," and Wednesday said it is the ugliest, most dilapidated building in the county.

Although I Can't be sure,
I wonder if this is it in the Foreground
or if it was on the other side the old hotel

Looking at the telephone pole, it appears there was a new one put in. It now leans the other way :laughing9:
