Can anyone tell me if this rock is an artifact or not? It looks modified on the end, but other than that I'm not sure. I had a pretty successful day today, I found three points and several pieces of pottery. This site continues to produce even though I hunt it to death.

the rock in question looks natural to me.

I've got to agree with quito, but I'm no expert. Nice finds.

I know it looks like a Plummet but I see no evidence of shaping other than natural. Doesnt look altered by human hands is what Im saying. I find plenty of points that look to be something but turn out to be rocks with a nice shape. If it showed grinding that would be different but I dont see any.

Thanks for the input. I've found a lot of nice things in this location, to include a nutting stone. I wasn't sure about this rock, but it looked interesting. I've been finding a lot of corps material and keeping it for once.

Always bring it out when in doubt, an give a shout out:thumbsup:
