Left the house later than i wanted but i knew the tides werent very well anyway and the water was going to be deeper. Got to the beach and someone asked me if i found anything. I said im just getting out so no. He said oh i thought you were one of the guys in the water. So i just left the detector in the jeep, because i already knew who the pros were. Yep ... it was Les. They were like me..... everything was wrong the tide, deep sand, deep water and NO targets. Spend a little chit chat time then loaded up for another beach. Spend a couple of hours with the kids.... i mean they were everywhere. People were parking all over the DO NOT PARK signs. I hit just 5 signals.... 4 were trash. Plucked this small gold colored key and thought yes baby. Spend some time hoping to find the chain.... but no joy. Felt pretty good considering there was much out there. Got to the truck and took a good look at the key..... thinking 14 K by the nice color. But ..... it reads AU 925... ouch.

Now that is a NICE find!!! Some people have all the luck.....

The other beach paid off. WTG!

Yes it did Les...... 5 targets. I was getting more noise from the kids than anything in the water.
