The one on the right looks like it was attached to leather. Possibly civilian horse harness decoration???

Yeah, with the 2 hooks like that bent in opposing directions, it does not appear that it was supposed to be a removable item.

Over a year ago here I found one very similar to the one you found and it was also identified as horse harness decoration on TNet.

Harness decoration sure seems like the right item. Just wanted to be sure it wasn't some sort of military item.

The other thing is curious, not sure if it is supposed to be bent like that but I believe it is. May have been a threaded part?

Yeap leather decor on the right.

The left piece looks to be a broken gun piece maybe of the butt, you can see where the screw went.

Definitely leather ornamentation, most likely 18th century.

I think gun piece is the best guess. Maybe it was the plate and hole where the hammer attached?

I'm not great with gun furniture, but I'm sure that this is from a gun, just not sure where.
