Couple of New England Hunters with their New Fisher AQ PI's

Both just got their new machines a little over a month ago and from the messages that Ron sent both seem to be doing very well with their AQ's where nothing else will pull the Deep Gold. Ron & Jim are users of the Manticore and for sure use the AQ mainly for one reason.....Its deeper. I do believe Jim is a member here and may chime in with a few more details of their adventures. Both have had PI's before and this is Jim's second AQ for he wanted a backup. I'm sure many may know each from the Treasure Depot from years ago and both are great hunters of the New England shorelines. Jim in MA & Bluetube ..

And I believe this picture was Rons/Bluetubes &/or Jims first hunt? with the AQ.

And for sure the AQ is not for every beach but at the right spot when nothing else is working and you know there is deep gold and silver, there is a good chance it will deliver. The AQ being a PI and it does have a few short comings, one the battery life, I would not recommend buying unless you have a few years experience using a PI.

The first time we hit this area we used the D2 and the Manticore we got some big silver.
Silver means gold, I switched to the TDI BH and got gold and silver. I switched because it is stable in the water, gold and silver targets were weak but repeatable. then I moved on to the AQ gold targets were much louder silver stayed about the same. After Ron saw how the AQ hit on gold and having 4 gold hunts ordered up 2 , I could not pas on getting another as you never know when something can happen and you don't have one.
3 other hunters have detected here with VLFs and they did not do well in black sand.
This just happens to be an area that the AQ shines. All targets are old and deep.

Talked to Jim and Ron they gave me the lowdown on purchasing and help answer my q’s help me to decide… it’s a no-brainer for me and my beach conditions!!

When nothing else can find the deep gold the AQ will and I find this very true in spots with very few targets, where they had a lot of foot traffic years ago and I've found silver. And If you need any help please let me know, I have One trick I use with the delay to calm the machine down using HOT settings if its starts getting a little noisy.

I'm not sure about coming up soon but I will put that on the to do list for the next couple years. Promised the GF we would do a trip each month this summer for fun. She is from Groton/Ledyard maybe we can trip a little further north. 🤔
