The work load has been piled up, which is great, but limits my time for swinging. Did get a couple days with a few hours to waste. The .50 cal shell was manufactured in St. Louis in 1943, the .50 cal bullet was on opposite end of the beach on another day. Highly doubtful it is the round for that shell. A junk bracelet with heart locket, 925 silver ring #30 on the year and a pair of metal testicles. Not sure the type of person that would wear a pair around the neck, but each there own. Thanks for stopping by, hope your hunts produce many smiles. image-2570971717.webp image-1696834502.webp image-3754563241.webp

Interesting finds.
Nutty, but interesting.

You would have to have balls to wear that around your neck. :laughing7:

Judging by the size, must likely worn by some one with more ego than brains!
If your find was from colder waters, I would guess that the person who wore them
had a tendency to stay in the water to long, and carried them as a reminder.
Out of curiosity, what are they made off?

Or they could have been dropped by a domineering woman that holds them on her keychain for her man! Lol :)~

I am not much of a knowledgeable person when it comes to identifying type o metal, but from what I have learned within the past year seems like iron with a stainless looking type o plating, still shines on the surface side and light pitting and dull on a portion of reverse.

Looks like a good hunt. It wasnt just pulltabs and bottlecaps. It was silver and balls. Dude you found balls. I vote banner. Lol
