Both of these were found in a park - mainly used as a dog bathroom these days - that was way outside town in the 1700s but is now in a pretty well off neighborhood.
First one is about the diameter of a quarter. (Forgot to measure it before I left for work.) Seems to be copper.
Second object is iron and is about the size of a trigger guard (which is the only thing that occurs to me).
Any ideas?
