couple weeks of finds

been doin pretty good lately,, today i got a 16 S merc.. as soon as i dug it and saw the date i was thinking come on D ... as i was cleaning it i could see a mintmark.... but it turned out to be an S..... oh well, maybe next time....
got some other nice finds too...

my friend got the king george, any ideas on the 3 on it

Congrats on the silver. I've had a few of those almost "wet your pants" 16's myself. Trust me...no matter how hard you try..you can't turn the mint mark into a D

The coin your friend found is very interesting. Looks like a George II Farthing. Pre-USA coin. Way cooler than the silver, if you ask me! Not sure what the "3" is doing there?
