Covered Bridge at Westfir

After the VFW, we headed out for drive. Found this old covered bridge at Westfir, OR I had never seen before-

jeffro, I,ve seen that, just dont remember where westfir is. Is that up the mckinsie river? I lived in springfield for 3 years awhile ago. Guess I'll have to dig my map out...

i love those old bridges. we have a few around here but they are getting scarce. it seems the dumbass kids like to burn them down in thier spare time! that one is a beaut.

Its just before you get to Oakridge, up the Willamette. Pretty country up there, lots of history back to the 1870's. We traveled up the McKenzie and did a loop back up in the hills, came down on the Willamette side.
