Because a few have asked me to post the receipe for this that I fixed at the Uvalde hunt.
Three cans of crab meat,2 bags of salad shrimp(cooked,in tx all they had was small shrimp that were a little larger than the salad),1 cup chopped celery(I only used a third cup in tx)1 stick butter(not margarine),1-2 cups of real mayo(not salad dressing),3 boiled eggs(I used 5 in tx because they were small),1 loaf of sandwich bread,1 large sweet(red)onion.
Remove crust from bread and cut in half inch cubes(works better if you half freeze bread first),put in large mixing bowl.
Melt butter and pour over bread cubes and stir around.
Chop eggs and add to bread.
Add the celery
Add chopped onion.
Add the shrimp.
add the crab
Add the mayo and stir, add additional mayo if needed to your taeste.
Chill over night and you will not believe it has that bread in it.
A spoon full on a cracker goes pretty good.
