Cracked into the 1700's
At last I got a permission to hunt an ole farm but the weather frustrated me a bit. It was all showers and hail with only a couple of short intervals to swing my coil around. Yet I managed to break my detecting record and finally I cracked into the 1700's. My very first signal was very sweet, though too big for a silver. I kept wondering what it was until I undug a cool harness mount ca 18th century. Immediately after that, literally, several steps away from my first target I got another sweet large signal. This time I was better prepared for miracles and wasn't disappointed at all. There came out a King size double loop rectangular harness buckle with a shield shaped frame and an offset strap bar. BTW, I've invented a new technique of taking photos ... handless
