Creek hunt in Missouri 8-4-08

Went out today and walked from 2:30-7:00. Really hot, but I was tickled pink to get the drill. I find quite a few drills, but eared ones around here are rare and this one is really cool. It was laying in great big rocks tip covered and I thought for sure it was going to be broke. The Table Rock and other red eared point were bummers.

Love the ears on the drill, amazing that it layed in the creek for so long and came out in such good shape. Great find ........

Very nice. That Drill is indeed a very sweet piece. I don't think I've ever seen one with tangs like that. Very cool.
