I got out for another fossil hunting trip here in Florida and scored some nice stuff. A tooth to an extinct giant dolphin, megalodon shark teeth, snaggletooth shark teeth, makos and a killer point! I saw the point on the top of my shovel while filling up the screen...Very exciting!

Note: It is not legal to collect artifacts off of state land in Florida, but this is a small non-navigable, private creek. Just thought I'd throw that disclaimer out there for anybody that thinks I may not know the local laws.

Here's the video of the hunt:

For those who don't want to watch a video, here's some pics:

Believe it or not, this is a baby megalodon tooth. Megalodon teeth come in all sizes...Some people think if it's not the size of your hand, it's not a meg.

Those teeth are so cool! I love the baby one. That spear point is banner I think! How old do you think it is?
Middle to Late Archaic, so 3,500 to 6,000 years old.

By the way, I am amazed you could spot that dolphin tooth out of all of those rocks! So are you just digging in a creek and sifting it? And it used to be underwater in the past?
Yep! All of FL was underwater multiple times in the past.

Nice finds , I would love to see a few more pics of the knife / spear those serrations on the sides look killer

Always cool to watch your videos, and see the great stuff you are finding. That creek looks like the place to find snake teeth though!
Glad you're enjoying them! You're right about the snakes...lots of then there.

Awesome teeth and other treasures! The creek beds always intrigued me.

Congrats on the neat finds..

Great finds! The teeth are cool but the point is amazing! Good work.
