Don't know much about it but found it when I was helping my grandmother reorganize some stuff. I know the company started in the mid 1800s.

Looks like they were only in business from 1892-1906 before Western Pottery took over.

they came in all sizes, some quite large....used for a variety of food storing applications. Ma used to store cooked beef and pork in the large ones...grandpa used to make beer in his.
