Crown Button

I was detecting with a guy this weekend and he found this crown button at a mid to early 1900s home. I do live on the east coast so it may have nothing to do with the home. Looks like it has a steel bach that is badly rusted. Thanks

It does look like the Royal Crown Liquor symbol.

Look up "Royal Crown buttons" on google and go to images... or Vintage Royal Crown buttons,etc.. May be helpful.

It is an ironbacked rivet-button from Crown Overalls, a brand manufactured during the 1920s/30s. The time-period may be somewhat wider than that.
