Thanks

both - I always take at least 2 machines
I double up on everything on trips - you don't want to be on a trip and have an equipment malfunction
and spend the rest of your trip sitting in the sun

I'd carry my Excalibur and my White Amphibian if I went on a cruise.

I take 2 but rarely use the PI...many of those beaches have a ton of trash. My excal is easier to set up quickly than my infinium also.

Thanks for the replies, keep them coming...

Excal with 3pc. carbon fiber travel shaft!

I am 100% with Rusty Gold. I have a Plugger 3 piece carbon fiber travel shaft for my Excal II. Using that shaft, I can get the entire detector, spare battery, hydration pack, dive boots and gloves and other accessories with room to spare in a 20x12x12 rolling duffle bag. Small enough for airplane carry on as well.

Is there such an animal as a 3 piece Carbon Fiber travel shaft for the Sov GT?
