This is my first full year on my own, in terms of the above totals. Cru’dad has been replaced by someone who I can trust & can drive me to the Sites. The has meant much less detecting this year with only about 100 hours instead of the usual 400+.
No Gold Coins this year but I ‘may’ (still to be confirmed) found my rarest Roman Bronze Coin, 1 of 1:
Crispus Obv.webp
Crispus Rev.webp

My best until this point was 1 of 2 known which is now published in the below book:

Roman Imperial Coinage Volume V Part 5: Carausius and Allectus by Sam – SPINK | BOOKS

CRU,
Outstanding results by any measure. That coin from Trier (Roman Germany) is breathtaking.
Tell me where you hunt and I'll salt the area with a cob coin that (I believe) is still on your 'bucket list'.
Keep swinging and reporting in '26.

Your not wrong I still need a Cob, found an older Spanish & a newer, just can't fill the gap!

Cru, amazing bookkeeping and results! Perhaps I'll come drive you around so you can increase your hours (and I'll detect to). Wishful thinking on my part - for sure... Hope you have continued success in 2026!

Interesting post Cru! Thanks for that.

Happy new year Cru.
Still a really nice totals for your time spent out in the fields.
Congratulations of the Roman Bronze.
Getting a rare one is a smashing recovery.

Congrats on the outstanding finds !

Top of the line crusader, Thank you for sharing with us !!!
