Crusty and toasted but a bucketlister for me !

Crusty and I couldn't make out anything but I soaked it in lemon juice and then I could see States of America at the top and in the center one cent. The only thing on the obverse was the date 18?7. I've always wanted to find a large cent so I'm happy .

Yes, the only way I could see it was through a jewelers loupe!

After many toasted large cents, I finally got another one in great shape. Out of approximately twenty I've dug I have two in remarkable condition. This one cleaned up really nice! Keep up the good work ad you'll get some nice things!
