Crusty, rusty, and toasted!

These were Sat and Sun.'s finds at a school, sports field, and park, I wanted to revisit.
Majority of zincs are corroded, junk bracelet is rusty, and my sole wheat is crusty, it might be 1947, can't really read the date.
Twenty of the most trashed zincs were in a coin spill.
The item I find most interesting is the melted lump of metal top left, it is not magnet, so probably aluminum and the darker part seems to be a different metal, slightly heavy for aluminum.
I now know where "not" to hunt, next time.
And I got spritzed (light sprinkles) on the whole time. Weird day. Hope you guys did better.

Looks like you stayed busy. That's a lot of targets. I still enjoy a good clad day as long as I can score 1 wheat it's not considered a skunk day. Too dry to do permissions in my area, sure wish it sprinkled all day in Ohio. Rain will come, the soil will become damp enough to dig nice plugs on the permissions I have awaiting me.

Thank you Professor! I'm adding to the clad funds and I had a good time. I am somewhat puzzled by the melted blob of metal, I just may test it for silver.

Quindy Thank You! I am well aware of what's out there, it just wasn't where I looked this time. The rate at which some zincs are disintegrating is truly unbelievable, and sad. I promised my grandson a musket ball so I'm practicing hard!

Yes sir, I sure did! I was detecting in a light spritzing rain, trying to save the corroding zincs while there was still time! Now if I tried to explain that to a non-MD'er they would think I had lost it...but I was actually finding it...peace of mind...priceless! Win-Win!
