Cru'Team end of year post - 2015
Firstly thanks to Land-Mag for his continued support this last year.
This is the first full year with the XP Deus & I'm very impressed with its performance, thanks XP.

Record hours this year at nearly 530 Hours on 128 days. Cru'Dad did 496.5 Hours, so over 1000 combined hours of hunting.
It's funny to look back at the beginning of the year & think it will be a tough one, as we have bashed many of our good sites to near death, but then to finish the year in disbelief on how well it went.
This year we invested heavily in trying to track down new sites, & was successful in that we found 6 or 7 new Roman Sites, however only 1 was any good.
A few things stick out this year;
The Gold Hammered of James I
Very Rare Galba Denarius
The extremely Rare Iron Age (Celtic) Bulls Head Cauldron Mount
A record 1 day total of 5 Roman Silver Coins
Record Roman Silver Coin count of 27, even though our bronze count was lower than usual.
Although some of our counts are relatively low, like the Roman Bronze & the Hammered, we have more than made up for it in a higher than usual bunch of QUALITY coins. The 1 missing coin we would have liked to have found was the Saxon Sceat, but there is always next year.
