As always, thanks goes firstly to Land-Mag, our silent Team Member, whos working in the background to help keep our network expanding.
We would normally average about 1000 hours a year between Cru'dad & I, however due to my accident our hours were dramatically down this year:
My Total Hours: 330.75 and Cru'dad's Total Hours: 398.50
Grand Team Total: 729.25 hrs
This drop in hours affected our totals, in particular our Roman Coin totals.
I only learn from past History & I don't dwell on it, so we will keep moving forward in 2022 however much I'm being slowed up. I look forward to many more new finds.
The big tub of low grade buttons (the ones that are blank & not sorted & put away separately) are a refection of a tradition we started in 2009 when the TNet Member 'woody50' wondered how many buttons we got a year. Funny enough in 2009 we had 3124 which we haven't beaten since!
Above is a selection of some of the better finds this year.
The Celtic Gold is the best I have ever found, so I could never call this a bad year.

Plus the way I found it, I'll never forget:

Happy Hunting everyone & good luck in 2022.
Update:
The above table only covers about 60% of our Recordables (GPSed finds that Cru'dad puts on his database & Maps on individual Field Maps)
That said we recently recorded over the 2000 Roman Artefacts (category on his database, started in 2007)

🥇 BANNER - Failed Oil-Seed Rape - Day 2 - CELTIC GOLD & even more Fibulatastic...
On Monday I felt a Celtic gold coming after a few good signs & then when Cru'dad got the silver towards the end of the hunt, I knew we stood a better chance. So yesterday I booked today off as holiday, stating to my work colleague that I would find a Celtic Gold today. Not something I normally...
Happy Hunting everyone & good luck in 2022.
