Cru'Team's Last Day of April Hunt...

Dad & I found a reasonable strip of land along side a Bean Crop, problem was its one of our worst fields on the farm. Still, its this time of year we press the test...
Although we have only every recorded 1 scrappy Roman Coin from this land we managed 5 in 3 hours today, the XP might account for some
Also the Crotal Bell was nice, quite often (nearly 9/10) are broken, so as I pictured it for you guys I had no way of knowing how it may turn out, so very pleased it was whole
Neolithic Flint (eyes only, plus one of my Roman coins was as well)
5 Arrow Livery Button
1749 Geo II Halfpenny
Top of 17th C Button - doesn't look much but its another new type for me
Medieval Buckle
Strange Medieval whatzit - kind of Cross shaped
1918 Florin or Two Shilling - Although not that old these larger solid silver coins are a scarce find for us.

Did 1 hour in a nearby field where we had 1 Roman Coin each (taking the total to 7) & a Military Button (Dad found) - nice condition plus I think its our first one

Although I have lots, its something I never tire of finding. We get so many bits, it just pleasing to see one survive the ploughing - plus there are hundreds of variants of differing sizes. Also with the farming connection it's one of the Favs with Farmers, so we give quite a few away as well

The broken parts are also one of our base indicators or good rubbish as I say, it tells us that we are in the right area (as long as other base indicators show as well).
