Cant really tell the color or the shape from the pictures.

At the bottom of the crystal it looks kinda pink . then turns blue green then to clear.

Get it cleaned up and looked at by a pro.good quality tourmaline is worth some good bucks.

What state did you find it in? I was just curious, We found Black tourmaline in GA,

I live in NH. it's more of a Western Maine gem stone. It's usually found from Bethel ME. to Norway ME. There are many mines in that corridor. I know, one side of my family comes from that area. Spent a lot of time rock hounding there when I was younger.

I'll have to, so far I've just found gold. But I do like minerals too! I do have some nice specimans.

I found it at an estate sale here in California. I believe it is local. There were other rocks and crystals with that are local.

If it has good color and few internal flaws you have some money there.ive seen top quality pink tourmaline go for roughly 200 a carat,green 60 to 110 a carat.a lot depends on the prices though.

Yes, California also has tourmaline. It ranges from Watermelon to blue , clear, pink ,and green
