CTX-3030 in sunlight

I got the CTX-3030 - When using in bright sunlight it is almost impossible to see the screen - tried some good sunglasses - doesn't help much - does anyone have any suggections? Thanks

There was a person that made some detector covers with a sun screen that shaded the detectors screen, but this was in another forum. But it shouldn't be so difficult to come up with some type of adaptation and do a small sun screen over the LCD.

Check out www.nushield.com They arn't to cheap but I purchased one for my E-Trac and they really helped a lot. Well worth the money. Best of luck.

I saw a few tips about this. Polarized sun glasses make it worse. Suggested trying back light. Helped a little. I think I will try a Zagg screen. Does anyone know if a cheaper phone screen cover does any good?

Got the Nushield product in today that Rockin Chairs Gold reccomended - Installed it and went straight out in bright sun - worked great - If you gonna spend $2500.00 on a detector - might as well go $15 on glare prevention

Glad it helped. I fought the same problem with my E-Trac, not any more. You'll find it will protect the screen as well. Money well spent.
