Hit the oldest city park in my area today with the CTX.
1hr in and boom.

Old gold with rubies.

Gotta clean the crud from behind the smaller stones...

Now that is one sweet looking ring! Congrats

Yeah, popped the plug and was like "well hello there."
I love finding the older stuff.

That's a beautiful ring. I'm imagining the tears that were shed when someone realized it was lost so long ago. Gorgeous find!

1 of the smaller stones was broken and fell out. The large center stone and 1 of the smaller ones is intact.

Apparently rubies are very brittle. I didnt do anything to it and I didnt hit it with my digger.

Beautiful vintage ring! Does it fit?

Actually it does. I am not the gold kinda guy though so.

Outstanding!!! Congrats!!!

Appreciate all of the good vibes folks.
Thank you.

What a beauty - congrats !

very nice. congrats!

Beautiful ring- Congrats!:icon_thumright:

Take it to a jeweler maybe he can clean it in the ultrasound cleaner for you and maybe somehow fix up the broken stone if there is a way to fix it.

Wow, I love it!

Just a very beautiful ring .Congrats.

So, had a retired jeweler look at the ring. The 2nd small stone has a chip in it and it is loose.

Here is where it gets good. The center stone may very well be a burmese ruby which if it is it's worth a small fortune.

Good quality ones go for $10,000usd a carat and go up from there dependent upon quality.

The small stones are not near the quality of the center/main stone.
