Hello all! I am new to this site so I apologize if I am breaking any rules. My father and I are in the process of selling our large collection of arrowheads found in the Valley region of South Texas. They all range from great condition to poor condition but will post some pictures of the arrowheads in better condition. We were wondering if anyone would be able to give us any pointers on how to sell or a rough estimate on the price of the arrowheads in the pictures, which are just a small portion of the collection. Many thanks!

Welcome Drew. Here's my opinion... Those are field grade pieces and most all are broken. I see some recognizable types in pic3 (Langtry, Marshall, Gary) but I don't think there's any in there that are worth a lot of money ($1-$5 with a couple of exceptions). Hope I'm proven wrong. You might could get more for them from a fellow Texan.

Welcome. Nice collection with variety & color. Did you & your father find them? I agree with T Dog that since most are chipped or broke their value is quite diminished.

I agree with what was already stated above. They are mostly field grade pieces and seem to be a lot of Tortugas most likely and not a lot of value in them. If there are any Paleo Early Triangles in that mix those are a little more valuable.

From what I can see from your pictures I would say around $200 for all of it, maybe a little more. They would have more value to you if you just kept them.

Priceless.

BTW: the cavemen boot-print in tray 3 is a conversation piece.
