Hi. I have bene reading all the old posts about low-alpha lead and the wildly conflicting posts on it's current value. I have read that the electronics industry have stopped using lead based solders so the old premium has disappeard. I was hoping someone could clarify the situation
1. Does low-alpha lead carry any premium to regular lead? If so any guide on current price?
2. If it does carry a premium who would one approach if based in the UK?
3. Does low alpha-tin carry any premium? Any guide on price
4. Again of so is it the same people as 2. who are buyers or a different set.
Thanks for any advice
