The farmer cut the hay on the field that gave me all the LCs this spring so back I went . Running low and slow in TTF I dug every non ferrous signals I could hear . Found some nice relics including a horse bridal rosette and a 1912 NYS dog tag . Only two coins showed up , i dug my nicest IHP and a great surprise bucket list coin. I got a solid 12-21 on my ETrac , which is a old style pull tab signal on the ETrac. What popped out of the ground was something I never expected to find . My first ever Flying Eagle Cent in amazing shape . The area that I dug it was a hedgerow until about 3 yrs ago when it got cleaned out to make the field bigger . So it has never seen fertilizer or a plow . It's got a great patina on it but the reverse is a little roached .

Awesome finds! Now get out there and find an 1856 Flying Eagle!

Great group of finds there, congrats on a fabulous hunt!

Congrats on that flying eagle, Sweet one too!! That 1912 dog tag is another Sweet find. That's the oldest one I've seen posted in a while. I'm a big fan of the old dog tags.

Sweet array of relics and coins!
Great detail,on the IH.
I would not have realized that was a flying eagle coin, i'm always thinking its foreign coinage.

Nice shape for a flying eagle. Indian head is in real nice condition looks like a successful hunt to me

Awesome finds! Now get out there and find an 1856 Flying Eagle!

It's funny you say that . When I first looked at it quick I thought it was a 1856 . Didn't know at the time that was the key date . Then when I looked it up and realized what that was worth I had to look at it again lol . Alas it's a 1858 but I'm not complaining it's still my first

Congrats on your first Flying Eagle. Thats a tough coin to find. I also like that 1912 Dog tag.

Very well done 46W!

You got two very nice small cents there, wow, they are both winners in my book! Congrats to you sir.

Congratulations on the IH and flying eagle, that one is still on my list. The unidentified piece between the 2 buckles looks like the piece on the carburetor(tractor) where the throttle linkage hooks up.
