CW Find's from this weekend's DIV.....

No Plate's for me this weekend But I didn't come out empty handed.I met some great people and hopefully lifelong friend's who are dedicated CW relic hunter's.....just a good time!!We hit quite a few spot's on the farm and were not short of signal's.Here's my take from the hunt.

1 Eagle Cuff button
1 Eagle Coat button (Evans and Hassall...Scarce backmark)
1 Belt retainer
1 Shoulder scale attachment
1 J hook
1 Pack triangle with the stud and leather still in it
1 Button back (Waterbury)
2 Iron buckle's
1 Piece of a canteen spout
2 .58's (one wormed)
1 .58 (must have been a bad pour)
1 .69 Roudball (fired)
Misc. lead

Great finds buddy!!! Really had a great time digging with you and Ty. What a place to dig! full of relics and history! wish we would of known about Saturdays place Friday we would of trippled our take. But oh well anyway you look at it we had a great time.

Good job buddy It was nice to meet you and Ty in person and it looks like you did pretty good considering you didn't have a TDI (me either). You sure have to know how to hunt in that red irony "BRANDY"-colored soil. I've been lucky enough to grow up around red clay and have hunted in northern virginia enough times to know how to use a regular detector in it......that said, it can still be tough. I know a guy who only dug 1 bullet using the MXT......and I know another who did fairly well......that tells the tale there. All in all though, there were some really nice finds made. Maybe not as good as other DIVs, but still a nice one for alot of folks.
I tried to find you guys during the hunt but we didnt ever really run into each other except in the mornings...
