Nice finds SP!!! What # is that bullet in the M & M book? I have never found one of those. Did those relics come from that same picket post you have been hunting? WTG, Quindy.

It is M&M #97...about a 35-40$ bullet. It came from the camp that the picket post was supporting....camp was supposedly cleaned out, but no camp is ever really cleaned. This camp was attacked and overran by a Confederate cavalry unit...this is the only Confederate relic of that attack I have found there. Bill

I see it SP. That's the one I thought it was. Was that Gen. J.H. Morgan's Cavalry on his Ohio raid that vattacked the camp? Congrats on a very hard bullet to find, Quindy.

Gratz on a tough CS bullet.. All the CS varieties I've found have been common types. WTG
