CW Relics From Recent Hunts

Went with Friends last weekend and had a great hunt! I found a bunch of bullets, 3 buttons, 6 button backs,Kepi buckle, nap sack hook, some camp lead, couple rivets and grommets etc.
I went today with my hunting partner and found some bullets, 10 were in the same hole Williams cleaners and 3 ringers, that is unusual for my spots, and a chunk of lead sabot from artillery shell. Darn cows are worse than kids for curiosity!!! I had 2 trying to eat my coil and 30 or so others beside and behind them checking me out, at one point they had completely circled me, all young heifers no bulls.

Nice finds. Hard to find that much lead in one spot around here anymore. 10 in one hole, plus a few williams cleaners, very nice. Thanks for the view.

It does good, but like most other VLF's most everything sounds similar to iron, I go by the quality and solidness of a signal to decide if I dig or not.

Nice mark. You actually dug a discarded or lost pack of bullets. Later in the war yankee regulations called for 3 williams in each 10 pack!
